Remember to fill out the portion form in order to take your pictures also your book sales are still happening until September 1st for those of you looking into taking driver's ed this year there's an open house tomorrow at 5 p.m. in the cafeteria when your family and the necessary documents that are listed on the school website I have absolutely nothing so boring I don't know where to go what to do we can go to the beach I'm going to use my car how to play then we'll catch up after school oh man I don't have my license I really need to go to Driver's Ed before your 18 well we have classes high school and it will take place August 25th at 5 p.m. in the cafeteria don't forget to remember you need drivers ed before Chipotle also tomorrow is the last day to make any changes to your schedule email your counselor to schedule a meeting great job on the first football game of the season way to fight to the end my next football game is against Sequoyah High School and it will be happening on Friday August 25th at 6 p.m. bring your gift card or your ticket tickets can be found on gofan.co in football let's hear from some of our athletes on the team Kentucky football I really hope this season first of all that we can have a safe season and I really hope that as our season progresses that our players will continue to grow and get better each week and will continue to to strive each week to 2 hours to work hard and do the things that we can be control off to get better and prepare can my name is LaVar thank you be my name is I'm in 9th grade and I play at the end this year I'm mostly looking forward to winning and making bond with my boys what is the season I'm looking forward to making as much wind as you can this season is almost sophomore and I play wide receiver and I'm looking forward to inclina cuz I want to get challenge I'm a junior and I play center on the line what I've learned Pikachu games Wii we've gotten a lot more better we are more disciplined now and we're just ready to just just take on the season already what I'll do with this knowledge I'll just carry it with me on my shoulders and would like with my woman my brother and I'll just take it to the touchdown take it to the winds I'm liquor God I'm captain Calicut football team I'm in 12th grade and my position is wide receiver I feel like our team has bonded over the course of the summer who done a lot of team bonding skill team bonding drills and stuff like that we've had potlucks together and after every single practice we we pray together and usually in our prayer we pray for healing strength bar season I feel that this is going to help us this season because now that we know that were United and we put our faith in our Brotherhood first. I feel like we can win any game as long as we're together we wish you would have made things season 3 let's hear from our beloved Mister Hewitt my name is David Hewitt and I've been to a few years ago and then moved over here now open up the new school so classes that a teacher teach advisory and then I also teach world history which is sophomore and AP US History which is generally juniors sometimes a senior sophomore year there but that's pretty much why I really enjoyed kind of helping them make connection world connections with relationships that that's part of what I like about are three ways that first one being the relationships and I think history as a 2-second of reflect on life and learn from the six. be inspired by inspiring people and and all of that but I can come to school tired but when I start teaching and working with the students I get energy from that I enjoy I had some really good teachers that helped me when I was struggling in school and whatnot and so like Mississippi girl I had a math teacher mr. Who's there when I was a struggling sophomore really having a hard time. 2 and she gave so much time and I really appreciate that and then when I became a senior in high school I didn't similar to help people with their PT P like interest inventories and stuff filled out this paperwork it showed that I love people I love learning I want to be active and so teaching was perfect because I get to work with people get to do something I love and hopefully make a positive difference in the world AP u.s. History is a challenging course if you think you are wanting to go to college or trying to get ready for more difficult college-level work I think it's a good course to prepare for that any of these are good in terms of the work hopefully thinking at a higher level of critical thinking and writing skills oral presentation about why things are the way they are people that helped build our country in and move it forward so I think it's a good course in them some advice I would I would say that you should find what you're passionate about and follow your joy and I don't want to say that you don't be too in terms of career and job and where you want to live and stuff but it worked out as you're following your passion hopefully find a career and a life that doesn't feel like a the time. Even just in personal relationships find people that love you and will support you connect surround yourself with without love and support and try to stay away from like toxic kind of stuff that kind of brings you down as much as possible so I'm making excellent and work really hard thanks Mister Hewitt for such an inspirational story thank you for tuning in to our first Wave Rider broadcast I meant and I and don't forget it
