Aloha waveriders welcome to another school year here I calculate High School my name is Gianna Cunningham and I am yours didn't body president would like to say as we get into the new school year so what do you think about the direction you want to take the student body this year I have a lot of hopes for this year he had County high school and he has a senior this year I want to ensure that this school year is positive fun and healthy yes and along with being positive fun and healthy I would also like to emphasized that I think of the three hours that we're going to talk about that respect is right at the top that you have respect for yourself and you don't do anything that would harm yourself understand to take care of yourself both physically and mentally I think it's extremely important along with respect for our school our teachers our support staff and your fellow students I would also like to talk about school pride what it means to be a Wave Rider get involved get involved with clubs get involved with activities it will make your way here so much more meaningful as you go through your four years here and also I would really like to emphasize that our graduation it has around 80% but that's not acceptable and why do why do people drop out of school the number one reason is attendance nobody wakes up in the morning and says today I'm going to drop out of school it starts over a long YouTube time and as you miss more and more days and you fail more and more classes you get further and further behind and as you get older you realize while I'm never going to graduate and you stopped coming so I'd like to emphasize be here everyday unless you're truly sick and focus on your studies you have four years to determine the direction of the rest of your life this is important nobody's ever going to elementary school you graduate from what middle school you graduated from they're going to ask you what high school you graduated from and you need that diploma and you need those skills in that knowledge so please I employ you come to school everyday pay attention go to class don't hang out in the restroom that's not going to educate you unless you have some kind of other at a genda so please come to school everyday and have a great attendance get involved thank you thank you for your paperwork stuff to do and I and I said student council. are the new the student here at school we want to implement the three Rs relationship respect and responsibility so let's make this year a grade one thank you guys track we finally got our track finished yay and this year we're going to have home football games and we're going to have home soccer games and track meets and everything else that goes on out here so I'm encouraging all of you to become Wave Rider Strong we need your voice in the stands see hundreds of kids and their stands cheering and yelling plays this is the place to take out your energy and we have this year we have a Biff card for $20 you can get into all home games okay it's 20 bucks and if you can't afford 20 bucks you come and see me and we'll work it out okay we always need help here at the games and athletic so maybe you can participate that way but please get it I guess I said before I get involved don't forget to bring your pride and wave ready G as we will be having a pre football season game at August 12th at 5 p.m. thank you guys for tuning in have a wonderful day Kyrie 1 in Iran's Luciano and I am a senior class president everyone my name is Eric G and I'm co-editor Chief and I'm also the State student council representative activities along the way to be more updated and get more information each class has their own class Instagram but you can follow and I am proud to announce on behalf of the yearbook organization that our theme this year is going to be a cafe and very rustic and I don't want to say much more because it's going to be really awesome the space for that please check the website if you are a senior the last week of August is going to be senior portraits as well as cap and gown portraits so just make sure you're there we'll see you soon
