okay you welcome to chapter 28 chapter 28 is on the nervous system kind of have a different set up I'm in the broom and I've got my laptop down with some my lap and holding the microphone and so we'll if we could summarize what chapter 28 is about it's really about just three things burping it's about is about neurons and and how neurons are built and then how the whole nervous system is going to put together second thing is on an potential you really understand how a nerve fire and how that that signals sent down the neuron and then the last thing it's about is about the human and have any brains can organize the 3:30 or with the nervous system nervous system has two parts to it that the central nervous system and has the peripheral central nervous system going to be the brain and the spinal cord and the peripheral nervous system is going to be getting sensory input like my eyes and I are getting Century input from invite environment and then I'm able to think about it and then I'm pump the sodium potassium pump and remember the active transport for putting ATP in to do this it's something sodium to the outside and something to talking to the inside but we're pumping more sodium out then with something potassium you welcome proteins on the inside which have a negative charge that I could just said overall charge now what so if we break it down is something happens on one side that's part of the forebrain and the salamis is taking information and it's rounding it to the part of the brain and so another words we process different things in different parts of our brain and then eventually we get up to what's all this syrebral cortex I just got a little what time left Revo cortex is wondering where you're going to hold things like put the memory that's where we're going to do a lot of the processing that I'm doing right now one thing I forgot how is the cerebellum cerebellum is kind of in charge of coordination for the kind of parts of the brain and human brain is probably we could one of the most sophisticated things has ever evolved probably in in the known universe and would just starting to figure it out
