Interact Movie Night

Interact Club Movie Night is scheduled to show "Into the Spiderverse" this week Friday, April 5. Crafts, facepainting, and concessions start at 6 pm and the movie starts at 6:45 pm. Popcorn is free! Bring chairs and a blanket. No coolers, please!

Run for a Position on the Associated Student Body!

Student Council will now be called the Associated Student Body, or ASB. Applications to run for all of next year's positions are now available here. A hard copy may also be attained from Young. Be sure to read the entire packet as much has changed. Completed applications are due to Young by 1:00PM on Thursday, March 28.

31st Annual Young at Art Judged Exhibit

Thirty three drawing and painting students had their artwork accepted into the 31st Annual Young at Art Judged Exhibit. Check out their artwork here. The exhibit is open until March 29. If you are in the Hilo area stop by and check it out at the East Hawaii Cultural Center!

Voting for Senior Ball Court is Open

Members of the Class of 2019 may now vote for this year's Senior Ball King and Queen. The last day to vote is Friday, March 15. You must use your school Gmail to vote. Votes cast by underclassmen will be thrown out.

Seniors! Nominations are now open for Senior Ball court! You may nominate seniors in your advisory classes or stop by Young's office to write in a name. People who are nominated must be attending Senior Ball and must have at least a 2.0 GPA.

Early College / Running Start Applications Are Open!

Do you want to take college classes and earn both high school and college credits, for FREE?  If so, applications are NOW OPEN for the Fall 2019 semester!  The GEAR UP scholarship is for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch. The deadline to apply is quickly approaching, so don't wait, it's not too late!!   The Kamehameha Schools Scholarship application is now open, for Native Hawaiian students, to take Running Start courses.  If interested and want to apply for Early College classes, or just want more information, please see Mrs. Robinson in the Early College office.

Attention Seniors! Do you need money for college? Have you completed your FAFSA? If you need help doing your FAFSA application, there will be a FAFSA help session this Thursday, February 7 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Palamanui. Bring your parents, social security numbers, and 1090 tax form and get your FAFSA done!
