Members of the Class of 2019 may now vote for this year's Senior Ball King and Queen. The last day to vote is Friday, March 15. You must use your school Gmail to vote. Votes cast by underclassmen will be thrown out.

Seniors! Nominations are now open for Senior Ball court! You may nominate seniors in your advisory classes or stop by Young's office to write in a name. People who are nominated must be attending Senior Ball and must have at least a 2.0 GPA.

Early College / Running Start Applications Are Open!

Do you want to take college classes and earn both high school and college credits, for FREE?  If so, applications are NOW OPEN for the Fall 2019 semester!  The GEAR UP scholarship is for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch. The deadline to apply is quickly approaching, so don't wait, it's not too late!!   The Kamehameha Schools Scholarship application is now open, for Native Hawaiian students, to take Running Start courses.  If interested and want to apply for Early College classes, or just want more information, please see Mrs. Robinson in the Early College office.

FAFSA Help Session Thursday, February 7

Attention Seniors! Do you need money for college? Have you completed your FAFSA? If you need help doing your FAFSA application, there will be a FAFSA help session this Thursday, February 7 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Palamanui. Bring your parents, social security numbers, and 1090 tax form and get your FAFSA done!

Kealakehe SCC Sarah Rosenberg Scholarship

The objective of these awards is to recognize Kealakehe High seniors who demonstrate academic achievement, participate in school-supported community service, as well as exemplary acts of selflessness. Four one-time scholarships will be awarded. The "Most Outstanding/Kupono" Waverider and the "Most Charitable/Lokomaika'i" Waverider will receive $3,000 and will speak at graduation. The 2nd place winners in each category will receive $2,500 and will be acknowledged at graduation. Pick up an application packet from Mr. Huitt or the bus office counter to see the eligibility and application requirements. You can also download it by clicking the headline link. Deadline is February 19, 2019 by 3:30 pm to Mr. Huitt.

Spring Driver's Education Lottery and Parent Night

The Spring 2019 Driver's Education Lottery and Parent Night will be held on Thursday, February 7 at 6:00PM in the library. Students can go to room G-202 to pick up an application packet or they can get it online. We are only accepting 30 students at this time.

Ticket Sales for Senior Ball Happening Now!

Online sales for Senior Ball are happening now! The last day to purchase a ticket is Friday, January 18 at 11:59PM. Seniors may only bring one guest. Get details on how to purchase your ticket online here. As a reminder, dance agreements are due three days after you purchase your ticket; agreements may be downloaded here. Cash sales will be held from Monday, January 14 to Friday, January 18.
