Kealakehe High School will host its annual OPEN HOUSE on Thursday, August 19 at 4:30 in the Cafeteria. There will be a new format so parents /families are asked to come to the Cafeteria first for more information.
Supper (chili ‘n rice – also vegetarian) will be offered for $3.00 starting at 4:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria (as a fundraiser); a selection of beverages will be available (as a fundraiser).
Resource tables will be set up to get information about: College Readiness, Clubs, Yearbook, JROTC, AVID, School & Parent information, and others.
Parents will be directed to follow their student’s schedule (6 classes), spending 10 minutes in each class with 8 minutes for passing. This time with teachers is not for conferencing and appointments can be made if parents wish. Parents should come with their student’s schedule.
This event is planned for “WaveRiders”, their families and the Kona community to visit the school, see the campus, meet teachers and find out more about the educational programs offered at Kealakehe.
