Aloha WaveRiders!

Today is Friday, January 11th.

We will be having an assembly schedule today with periods 1-6 each 45 minutes.

Just a reminder - there will no longer be a warning bell 3 minutes before class begins. There will be a bell 5 minutes before and when class begins only! Make sure to be in class by the second bell.

Need community service opportunities for scholarships and college apps or for NHS? Consider helping at the following: Tomorrow is the Friends of the Library Kona Book Sale at the public library, from 7-9 am or 12:45 -2 pm. Next Saturday at the Kona pool, timers are needed for a swim meet from 9-12:30. February 9th Konawaena Elementary needs some help at their rummage sale. Please come and see Mrs. Anderson in the library if you are interested or have questions.

The Waverider Learning Center will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in the library. Come down to catch up on work, and/or sign up to get help from peer tutors. Rides home are provided to students who filled out an application form, which can be picked up at the library.

Wiki and lunch today are a Char Siu Chicken with Mashed Potatoes, House Salad, Oranges and a Fruit Cocktail.
