Good Morning WaveRiders

Today is Friday, May 5th 2017. 

 Interact elections end today at 3:30. If you are a member of Interact, go to I-202 to vote today!

Do you like free stuff? Well, Saturday, May 6th is Free Comic Book Day! Head on over to the Kailua-Kona Public Library between 9 to 5 and pick up 2 free comic books, while supplies last.

Also, dress up for the cosplay contest from 10-11 a.m. Contest is open to 4th - 12th graders, and two lucky winners will get a $25 gift card for Regal Movie Theaters. Cosplay can be from any source, and original characters are welcome.
That's this Saturday at the Kailua-Kona Public Library. If you have any questions, stop by F-201 and see Mr. Dahlke for details.

Yearbook Party Wristbands Are Now Available For Pre-sale For $5 And Will Not Be Purchased At The Door. To Get Yours See Ms.Zamber In I-102 During Wiki Only Or Pick Them Up From Any Of This Year's Yearbook Students.

Zumba 4 Hope Fundraiser. When: Saturday, May 20th at 5pm to 8pm. Where: Honda Parking Lot

Randal's Dance Fitness, Abby Decoito and Rhodlynn Watai are coming together to raise money for Nohea's family as she has gone to be with the angels. In this we also want to raise awareness for cancer. Please come down and join us as we dance the night away.

Tickets are going to be $15 Presale and $20 at the door. You can buy tickets from Randal Smith in the accounting office. We are going to have plenty of awesome door prizes from our local businesses and more. Please bring your family and friends as we unite in this stand against cancer and for Nohea's family in this time of need.

Anime Club is selling pre-tickets for Krispy-Kreme donuts at $11. If you want to buy a ticket, come in at Thursday during ELO at D-103 or come find Juri, Ninna, or Ryan around school! We'd be glad to sell you a ticket or two!

NHS members interested in helping at a Special Olympics activity on May 7 please come and see Mrs Anderson in the library.

Attention Seniors! Are you tired of hearing about the new Science program at Palamanui? Well there's more news to share! The 12 students who are selected for this cohort will receive a scholarship of $6,000 over the course of the two year program. Check out the school website for more information and see Mrs. Davis if interested.

Attention Seniors. No Personal checks will be accepted for the rest of the year at the accounting office for any payments. The accounting office will accept as follows cash, money orders, and cashier checks. There is no online system to pay off dues. Thank you
