Today is Tuesday, February 7th, 2017. 

The cafeteria has begun using a new program. Have your parents visit our website for information on how to register for meal accounts through school cafe.com

Reminder to students parking in Hawaiian Homes neighborhood: No loitering allowed. Residents will have vehicles towed if parked in the neighborhood. That includes area by the mailboxes.

Attention Freshmen and Sophomores! Are you thinking about going to college, but not sure how to get there? Upward Bound could be perfect for you! This program helps first generation or low income students achieve their dream of going to college.

Picture yourself staying in the UH Hilo dorms and taking college prep courses this summer, with the potential to stay at other mainland colleges in the future. If you're interested in applying, see Mrs. Hong in the counseling office.

Attention Juniors! Are you thinking of going to college? Then you should register for the SAT test on March 11. Registration is done online through your College Board account and the test fee is about $50.

If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, then you need to see Mrs. Davis for a fee waiver. The first deadline is Feb. 10, so register soon!

Kealakehe Softball program will be selling Valentine's Day candy grams for $1.00. Sale will be on Thursday, February 9th from 12:00noon to 1:30 pm by the Admin office. Send a sweet treat with a personalized message to that special someone this Valentine's Day.

Hey, hey, hey!!! Per your request, we are extending the ticket sales for the Valentine's Dance to Wednesday, February 8th. Again, the Valentines Dance ticket sales on sale now till Wednesday, February 8th. Ticket sales will be available during Lunch only in front of E-103 or see Mrs. K. in room E-303.

Good morning, Waveriders. Anime Club is currently selling tickets for Krispy Kreme Donuts and an all day petting zoo and pony ride. Krispy Kreme tickets are $12 and the petting zoo tickets are $10, all located at the Ali'i Gardens Marketplace on Saturday, February 18. Thanks for listening and a great day!

Are you interested in Driver’s Ed? If so, our next Lottery Night is going to be February 16th at 6:00 pm in the library. Application packets can be picked up in Q-203 or downloaded from our website. If you have any more questions, please contact Mrs. Aparicio or Mr. Verble.

Attention all members of the "Kia I Aina Kualoloa" program. We will be meeting for our third session this Saturday 2/11/17 at 7:30AM. Please make sure to wear long pants, shoes and bring water bottles and writing tablets. Be prepared for anything. We are making cuts this weekend so make sure you attend. For any questions or concerns please see Mr. Harrs in room E-201.

NHS members please come to a meeting on Wednesday, during lunch in H203. We will be working on a community service project. We also are needing folks to help at the math night at the elementary school.

Wiki and lunch today is barbecue pork patty on a whole grain bun, potato wedges, lettuce and tomato, baby carrots, apples and oranges, and a milk.
