Good Morning WaveRiders!

Today is Friday, September 2, 2016.

Attention all, we are about half-way through first quarter so please get ready for progress reports to come out next Friday.

Attention all students and faculty members. You asked for it and now you have it. The KHS Travel Club is planning a trip to Britain and Ireland this summer! Join us for a parent and traveler meeting in the library on Tuesday, September 13 at 6:00PM. You may also get more information by stopping by Young's office or visiting the website.

Hey Juniors!! THERE'S A LIPSYNC PRACTICE TODAY AT LUNCH TIME IN BELLAH'S ROOM WHICH IS D-301, BE THERE. ONCE AGAIN, ALL JUNIORS THERE'S A LIPSYNC PRACTICE TODAY IN D-301, MS. BELLAH'S ROOM AT LUNCHTIME

Attention Sophomores and Juniors! Sign ups for the October PSAT is happening now! Tests are available on a first come, first serve basis, so sign up ASAP with Mrs. Davis. You must sign up and pay $15 to the accounting office by September 22nd in order to take the test

Attention Seniors! Are you interested in learning more about the U.S. Senate? If so, the Schatz Seniors High School Internship Program could be perfect for you. See Mrs. Davis for more details on how to apply. 

Need more options for a part-time job? Jamba Juice and Jack in the Box in Kona are hiring. Apply on their website or at their Kona locations.

Attention seniors. Yearbook needs your Senior quotes, casuals and Keiki photos before September 16. There will only be 2 pages reserved for keiki photos. Bring in your quotes, casuals and keiki photos to Ms. Zamber in I-102.

Attention seniors, if you have taken your portraits over the summer you are now able to pick them up. Please pick them up in I102 during CEPA or wiki from today till Friday September 9.

All girls interested in playing softball this season, there will be strength and development clinics held every Saturday during the month of September. See the school’s athletics website for more info on how to register.

Wiki and lunch today is Asian Style Chicken, Steamed Brown Rice, Whole Grain Roll, Vegetable Medley, Peaches/Fruit Juice and a milk.

Next up we have a clip and then Mr. Young will be on with a student activities update.

That’ll be followed by a special presentation with students from Ms. Sheff and then Mrs. Davis with an update.
