Good Morning WaveRiders!

Today is Monday, September 12, 2016.

Today is a regular 5 day week schedule with 4 full weeks before fall break.

Please return your signed Mid-Quarter 1 progress report to your CEPA teacher today for points.

Attention freshmen, sophomores, and juniors! Are you thinking about going to college, but are not sure how to get there? UPWARD Bound could be the perfect program for you! If you want more information, there will be a meeting tomorrow in the cafeteria during 6th period.

Attention Juniors & Seniors! We have two college visits today! University of Denver is here RIGHT NOW in the library conference room and Lewis and Clark will be here during period 6 in the library conference room. See you there!

The first mandatory class for "After School PE" will be Wed. 9/14 right after school in Coach Hartfield's class room, Y-102. Juniors and Seniors who have competed on 1 or more Kealakehe sports teams are eligible to take this Fall Semester class.

Aloha all freshman students. We are having lip sync practice daily in room E-201 Mr. Harr's class. We are making good progress. Come get involved. We need your participation and help. Go class of 2020.

Due to a conflict with a rescheduled volleyball game, the Junior vs. Senior Powder Puff game has been rescheduled to Tuesday, September 27. Kickoff is at 6:30PM and admission is only $5. See you there!

Attention all students and faculty members. You asked for it and now you have it. The KHS Travel Club is planning a trip to Britain and Ireland this summer! Join us for a parent and traveler meeting in the library tomorrow at 6:00PM. You may also get more information by stopping by Young's office or visiting the website.

Interested in helping others while having a good time? Join KHS Interact Club, where we focus on fundraising a number of local and international service projects. Some of the service projects include cooking and serving food for “Meat-n-Eat” at Kealakehe Intermediate School...

Attention Sophomores and Juniors! Sign ups for the October PSAT is happening now! Tests are available on a first come, first serve basis, so sign up ASAP with Mrs. Davis. You must sign up and pay $15 to the accounting office by September 22nd in order to take the test

Do you want to tour colleges in Southern California for FREE? Five students will be chosen for this once in a lifetime opportunity! Read the flyers posted around campus or see Mrs. Davis for more information.

Attention seniors. Yearbook needs your Senior quotes, casuals and Keiki photos before THIS FRIDAY! There will only be 2 pages reserved for keiki photos. Bring in your quotes, casuals and keiki photos to Ms. Zamber in I-102.

Wiki and lunch today is Beef Hot Dog, Potato Rounds, Garden Salad, Hummus, Apples/Oranges and a milk.

In commemoration of the 15-year anniversary of the Nine Eleven attacks we have a CNN Student News Clip about the timeline of events and then the Admin Spot Check. Later Mr. Castro will be on to continue the lesson on Nine Eleven.
