Good Morning WaveRiders!

Today is Wednesday, August 24, 2016.

Our Open House is tonight beginning at 5:30pm. Please be sure your family is invited and have them report directly to your CEPA class.

All girls interested in playing softball this season, there will be strength and development clinics held every Saturday during the month of September. See the schools athletics website for more info on how to register.

There’s a Zumba Glow Party on August 27th at the Sheraton Keauhou Convention Center from 4:30 to 8;00pm

Tickets are $20! Just e-mail [email protected]. This is a benefit for West Hawaii Domestic Abuse shelters. So don't miss out, come and join us!!

Please be advised that effective TODAY, a relocating of bus stops will occur from Route IR16A to IR17A (Waikoloa). The following bus stops will no longer be on route IR16A. 

Hulu St./Kimo Nui 
Hulu St./Laie 
Hulu St./Akaula 

Drivers will be announcing the change daily in the afternoon. Please have students in those areas go to the Bus Office and change their bus pass to reflect IR17A as soon as possible.

Do you like to solve problems and work with your hands? Are you passionate about making Hawaii more sustainable and prosperous in the future? Kealakehe Robotics is now accepting applications to join our internationally recognized team. The team meets on Tuesdays and Fridays and you can earn course credit for participation.

For more information see Mr. Brown in U101 or come to our make-up meeting this Friday from 3:15-5:00 after school. Applications can be submitted online at KealakeheRobotics.org or ask your CEPA teacher for a flier.

School pictures for grades 9, 10, and 11 continue today and tomorrow through your English classes. Please stop by I102 if you need a picture order form.

Are you interested in Driver’s Ed? If so, our next Lottery Night is going to be TOMORROW at 6:00 pm in the library. Application packets can be picked up in Q-203 or downloaded from our website. If you have any more questions, please contact Mrs. Aparicio or Mr. Verble.

Want to run for Homecoming Court? The last day to turn in nomination forms to Young is this Thursday at 1:00PM. DO NOT leave forms in Young's box but turn them in directly to him.

Junior and Senior girls - Powderpuff jerseys are now on sale in the SAC office. Numbers are sold on a first come, first served basis. Personal jerseys are $35. See the website or Young for more information. The last day to purchase jerseys is TODAY, August 24th.

Students, if you want information on how to activate your Infinite Campus account, ask your CEPA teacher for an instructions handout.

Wiki and lunch today is Creole Macaroni, Whole Grain French Bread, Veggie Sticks, Peaches, Fruit Juice and a milk.

Next up we have the Sport’s Spotlight with Mr. Vogt and then Mr. Freitas will be on to continue the presentation about social issues and the Olympics.
