Good Morning WaveRiders!

Today is Tuesday, August 16, 2016.

It’s B day schedule of Periods 4, 5 & 6 and tomorrow will be an A day schedule with periods 1, 2 & 3.

There is no school on Friday, August 19th for Statehood Day.

Next week we will go to a regular 5 day week schedule with school starting at 8:15 A.M. and our Open House is scheduled for next Wednesday, August 24th.

NHS members please come Wednesday at lunch to our first meeting to sign-up for activities in H203.

Attention Juniors & Seniors! It's time to start thinking about college! UNLV will be here this Thursday, August 18, during 5th period in the cafe. Again, that's UNLV, Thursday, period 5, cafe. See you there!

Do you need a part-time job? Taco Bell and Pizza Hut are hiring, so visit their Kona locations for details on how to apply!

Calling, All junior girls and all junior football boys to participate in this year’s powder puff. There's a meeting in E-104 at lunch to discuss the Powder Puff practices and information details.

Attention all girl soccer players and other athletes who want to train for their sport. We will be offering a 6 week athletic development and training program. It will start on Wed Sept 7 and run through Oct 21. An Informational meeting will be Tuesday Aug 16 at 3:30 by the Athletic office above the stadium. Mandatory orientation on Tuesday and Thursday.

Are you interested in Driver’s Ed? If so, our next Lottery Night is going to be August 25th at 6:00 pm in the library. Application packets can be picked up in Q-203 or downloaded from our website. If you have any more questions, please contact Mrs. Aparicio or Mr. Verble.

Download your nomination form for Homecoming Court on the website! We're looking for 9-11th grade girls to run for Homecoming Princesses, 12th grade girls to run for Homecoming Queen and 12th grade boys to run for Homecoming King. Nomination forms are due to Young in the SAC office no later than 1:00PM on Thursday, August 25. Do not leave forms in Young's box!

Junior and Senior girls - Powderpuff jerseys are now on sale in the SAC office. Numbers are sold on a first come, first served basis. Personal jerseys are $35. See the website or Young for more information. The last day to purchase jerseys is August 24.

Wiki and lunch today is Italian Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Whole Grain French Bread, Spinach/Romaine Salad, Peaches/Apples and a milk
