Good Morning WaveRiders!

Today is Monday, August 15, 2016.

It’s an A day schedule of Periods 1, 2 & 3 with school starting at 9:00 a.m. and tomorrow will be a B day schedule with periods 4, 5, and 6.

There is no school on Friday, August 19th for Statehood Day.

Next week we will go to a regular 5 day week schedule with school starting at 8:15am and our Open House is scheduled for next Wednesday, August 24th.

Attention all girl soccer players and other athletes who want to train for their sport. We will be offering a 6 week athletic development and training program. It will start on Wednesday September 7 and run through October 21. An Informational meeting will be Tuesday August 16 at 3:30 by the Athletic office above the stadium. There is a mandatory orientation on Tuesday and Thursday.

Class of 2018 lip sync meeting and sign up will be in Mr. Huitt's room D-203 during lunch today.

Are you interested in Driver’s Ed? If so, our next Lottery Night is going to be August 25th at 6:00 pm in the library. Application packets can be picked up in Q-203 or downloaded from our website. If you have any more questions, please contact Mrs. Aparicio or Mr. Verble.

Download your nomination form for Homecoming Court on the website! We're looking for 9-11th grade girls to run for Homecoming Princesses, 12th grade girls to run for Homecoming Queen and 12th grade boys to run for Homecoming King. Nomination forms are due to Young in the SAC office no later than 1:00PM on Thursday, August 25. Do not leave forms in Young's box!

Attention all students! Voting for this year's spirit week dress days is now open. See the school website for details and a link. Also, the votes were counted and it was determined that this year's lip sync theme will be Disney.

Junior and Senior girls - Powderpuff jerseys are now on sale in the SAC office. Numbers are sold on a first come, first served basis. Personal jerseys are $35. See the website or Young for more information. The last day to purchase jerseys is August 24.

Wiki and lunch today is Chicken Patty on Whole Grain Bun, Oven Fries, Lettuce/Tomato, Oranges/Apple sauce and a milk
