Good Morning WaveRiders!

Today is Thursday, August 11, 2016.

It’s a regular Thursday schedule of Periods 4, 5, ELO and 6

Please return to your CEPA for the ELO today, and please remember that students Do Not have school tomorrow.

Next week is an A/B week, with school starting at 9:00 a.m. and no school on Friday, August 19th for Statehood Day.

Are you interested in Driver’s Ed? If so, our next Lottery Night is going to be August 25th at 6:00 pm in the library. Application packets can be picked up in Q-203 or downloaded from our website. If you have any more questions, please contact Mrs. Aparicio or Mr. Verble.

The first riflery meeting will be this Saturday 8-13-16, starting at 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It will be held in H101. We will just discuss basic safety and the season. Thank you.

Are you interested in assisting your neighbors and fellow citizens to vote? There is an opportunity to volunteer your services to the community, and at the same time gain first-hand knowledge and experience in the electoral process. This volunteering opportunity could earn you money!

Volunteers are needed for the primary election on Saturday, August 13th, 2016 and for the 2016 general election on Tuesday November 8th, 2016. For more information, please contact Mason Kaawa-Loa @ [email protected]

Download your nomination form for Homecoming Court on the website! We're looking for 9-11th grade girls to run for Homecoming Princesses, 12th grade girls to run for Homecoming Queen and 12th grade boys to run for Homecoming King. Nomination forms are due to Young in the SAC office no later than 1:00PM on Thursday, August 25. Do not leave forms in Young's box!

Attention all students! Voting for this year's spirit week dress days is now open. See the school website for details and a link. Also, the votes were counted and it was determined that this year's lip sync theme will be Disney.

The time to run for open student council positions is now! We need freshmen and a few upperclassmen. Download the petition on the school's website. See Young with any questions. Petitions are due TODAY at noon.

Junior and Senior girls - Powderpuff jerseys are now on sale in the SAC office. Numbers are sold on a first come, first served basis. Personal jerseys are $35. See the website or Young for more information. The last day to purchase jerseys is August 24.

Wiki and lunch today is Breaded Fish Nuggets, Steamed Brown Rice, Whole Grain Roll, Baked Beans/Rainbow Salad, POM Swirl/Oranges and a milk
