Good Morning WaveRiders

Today is Friday, October 7, 2016.

This is the final week of Quarter 1 and next week is Fall Break!

Are you interested in Driver’s Ed? If so, our next Lottery Night is going to be October 24th at 6:00 pm in the library. Application packets can be picked up in Q-203 or downloaded from our website. If you have any more questions, please contact Mrs. Aparicio or Mr. Verble.

Attention all athletes!  There will be a speed clinic offered in our stadium next Wednesday at 10:30 am till noon. Former Jamaican Olympic Gold Medal winner will be here sharing his experience to help athletes improve their speed.

Aloha Waveriders!!! Varsity and Junior Varsity Baseball and Softball signups are this week, please stop by the counselor's office during wiki or lunch. You will also need to stop by the attendance office to pick up a physical and consent form.

Lastly, go to "register my athlete" on the KHS Waverider website under the "athletics" tab and create an account. See Coach Hansen for details. Let's make it a great season! Go Riders!

Attention Juniors & Seniors! Providence College from Rhode Island and Wheaton College from Massachusetts will both be here today during 4th period in the library. See you there!

Attention Freshmen, Sophomores, & Juniors! The deadline is today to submit documents for the college tours and to pay for the PSAT. 

 Seniors that ordered senior portraits, come pick them up in I102 during CEPA or wiki only. Please come by October 7th.

Attention Seniors:  Project Grad is having an open house informational session at Kealakehe High School Library on Tuesday, October 11 at 6:00pm. This meeting is for anyone (parents, friends, community members) interested in continuing the tradition of Project Grad night for graduating seniors of Kealakehe and WHEA. 

All Project Grad committee positions are needed to bring the event to reality for the seniors. So far very few have come forward. There will be no additional sessions planned so if you can't make it send a representative. Please help spread the word! Mahalo

Bus riders who have quarterly plans, 2nd quarter payments are due by October 14, 2016. Again October 14, 2016. Please submit payments before fall break. Window open to students before school begins, during wiki and during lunch only. Closed after school to students to prevent you from missing your bus.

Students, the Quarter 1 PTP deadline was Wednesday. If you did not turn in your pink half sheet to your CEPA teachers, please get it in right away so you can earn 85 out of 100 points for a late grade.

Wiki and lunch today is Chicken Ala King, Whipped Potato, Corn & Carrots, Whole Grain Roll, Oranges/Pineapples and a milk.

Next up is a clip and then Ms. Loyola will be on with a special presentation. Later Mrs. Davis will be on.
