This is the final week of Quarter 1 and next week is Fall Break

Aloha Waveriders!!! Varsity and Junior Varsity Baseball and Softball signups are this week, please stop by the counselor's office during wiki or lunch. You will also need to stop by the attendance office to pick up a physical and consent form.

Lastly, go to "register my athlete" on the KHS Waverider website under the "athletics" tab and create an account. See Coach Hansen for details. Let's make it a great season! Go Riders!

Attention Freshmen, Sophomores, & Juniors! College & Financial Planning Night is tonight at 6:00 pm in the library. Bring your parents to learn how to plan for college. Also, remember the deadline is this Friday to submit documents for the college tours and to pay for the PSAT.

Attention Seniors! If you're considering going to UH Hilo and will be the first in your family to go to college, you should apply for the Dorrance Scholarship. Ten winners from the Big Island will receive basically a full ride to UH Hilo, along with amazing travel opportunities.

If you want more information, come to a meeting tomorrow during 3rd period in the library. Also, remember FAFSA Family Night is tonight at 5:30 pm in the library. Hope to see you there!

Attention Seniors! Remember, FAFSA Family Night is this Wednesday at 5:30 pm in the library.

Hope to see many of you at all of these college events!

Come to the KHS STEM Exhibition tonight from 6-7:30pm at U building. Enjoy over 20 hands-on projects, escape rooms, keiki activities, robots, free food, and more! If you cannot make it to the exhibition, check out the water balloon war at 4 PM at the upper field.

Seniors that ordered senior portraits, come pick them up in I102 during CEPA or wiki only. Please come by October 7th.

Attention Seniors:  Project Grad is having an open house informational session at Kealakehe High School Library on Tuesday, October 11 at 6:00pm. This meeting is for anyone (parents, friends, community members) interested in continuing the tradition of Project Grad night for graduating seniors of Kealakehe and WHEA.

All Project Grad committee positions are needed to bring the event to reality for the seniors. So far very few have come forward. There will be no additional sessions planned so if you can't make it send a representative. Please help spread the word! Mahalo

Bus riders who have quarterly plans, 2nd quarter payments are due by October 14, 2016. Again October 14, 2016. Please submit payments before fall break. Window open to students before school begins, during wiki and during lunch only. Closed after school to students to prevent you from missing your bus.

All students, please make sure you are updating your Q1 PTP and filling out the pink half-sheet you received last week. Q1 PTP is due Wednesday.
