Today is Wednesday, September 30, 2015

It's the last day of September and the last week of quarter 1! Be sure to get all your work done, end the quarter strong, and get ready for an awesome fall break.

When we return to school after fall break, we'll be on an A/B schedule with school starting at 9am...and students will not have school that Wednesday, Oct 14 for Teacher Institute day

Quarter 1 PTP and EPortfolio requirements were due Tuesday, September 29. If you did not finish and update your PTP, please turn in your pink sheet late for 85 out of 100 points

School picture retakes AND the senior group photo have been rescheduled for Thursday, October 15th.

Bus Riders your Quarter 2 payments are due by the end of first quarter--October 2! Please submit payment with the envelopes and drop them into the black box at the front office. Be prompt so can continue to ride!

The SAT is on Saturday, October 3 in the cafeteria, there are 77 students so be prepared with your Photo ID, printed admission ticket, number 2 pencils, approved calculator and snack/drink for the breaks.

NO ID=NO ADMIT IN TEST ROOM

The school has added the phone pouching system as an initial warning to students to keep phones stored during class times. When an EUP referral is made, students are sent down to the security office to get their phones pouched. They return to security office to get it unpouched at the end of the day.

If the referral is received at the end of the day, the student will be contacted to get their phone pouched the following day. There is a $35 fee for damaged or unreturned pouches which is added to student obligations. Students receiving a second referral will be suspended for 5 days.

Please pay attention to your teachers as 5 days for EUP infraction impacts your progress!

Juniors and Seniors interested in attending the HACAC College fair At the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel should sign up and pick up a field trip form from the counter at Mrs. Hartney's office.

PSAT sign ups still open, sign up with Mrs.Hartney and pick up practice booklet and information about the Oct. 28th PSAT in the cafeteria.

ACT practice test with Mr. Brown on Oct.12 in the library. Pick up form from Mrs. Hartney. If you signed up for the ACt on Oct. 24, this is a great practice test.

Azusa Pacific University is meeting Oct. 15 at 9:36 in cafeteria.

There will be a practice ASVAB test on Thursday morning during CEPA and part of period 4 in the library with Sargeant Burgett. See Mrs. Hartney for a pass.

Wiki and lunch today is teriyaki chicken asian noodles, egg rolls, tossed salad, oranges/diced pears, and a milk
