Today is Wednesday, September 23, 2015

This week we have a normal 5 day week schedule and there are only 2 weeks left in quarter 1!

Seniors, please report directly to the cafe during CEPA tomorrow for the cap and gown ordering assembly

Reminder to all students! Tickets for Winter Ball go on sale this week. Tickets are $55 for KHS students and $60 for all others. See the website.

NHS new members/inductees remember our Induction Ceremony is this Friday at 5:30 in the library.

Kealakehe welcomes a new program that allows 9th thru 12th graders to take FREE college courses here on-campus. Most of these courses will also satisfy high school graduation requirements.

If you are interested, contact your grade counselor or Ms Hartney. Your CEPA teacher has a copy of the flyer about the Early College program

Students who are interested in Early College for the Spring 2016 semester are invited to a parent's night informational and application event that will take place on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 5:00 PM in the cafeteria. Please contact your grade level counselor if you are interested.

Hawaii Island Landscape Association offers two scholarships for seniors enrolling in Horticulture, Landscaping or Agriculture. Pick up an application from Mrs. Hartney. Deadline is Sept. 30.

Quarter 1 PTP and EPortfolio requirements are due Tuesday, September 29. Please make sure you have all the requirements updated and then turn in the pink sheet to your CEPA teacher before the 29th.

School picture retakes AND the senior group photo have been rescheduled for Thursday, October 15th.

There is one more batch of school pictures coming. They are expected to arrive within 1-2 weeks

Aloha Wahine Water Polo players! You're grumpy ole coach again. We are on for this Saturday 8:30 at the pier. Like to also meet at lunch this Thursday in the Kingdom of Monell to finalize fund raising and discuss pool time. Brooke hope you're listening 'cause you have todas las pelotas!
