Today is Thursday, October 22, 2015

The deadline to turn in Winter Ball dance agreements has long passed. Forms will no longer be accepted. No exceptions!

The Cooper Union, New York, will visit with students who are especially interested in art, architecture and engineering on Monday, Oct. 26 in the library work room at 1:25.

The Preliminary SAT or PSAT will be administered on Weds. Oct. 28, students must pay their $15 test fee unless they are free-reduced llth graders who test Free. Pay at the accounting office by the 27th. There are only 110 test booklets so only paid students will be testing. Thank you.

Chapman University will visit with interested students on Thursday Oct.29th at 12:29 in the back of the library.

The HACAC College Fair is on Friday, Oct. 30 at the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel. Field trip forms were due on Oct. 16 and there are still a few seats available. Turn in bus forms for travel to Mrs. Hartney or in her box by Friday, oct. 23.

The ACT test will be in the cafeteria on Saturday, oct. 24 at 7:45 AM, you must have PHOTO ID, admission ticket, #2 pencils and approved calculators (check on line)

Waverider Learning Center has started up again for 2nd Quarter from 3:30 to 5:15pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays in the Library. We are accepting applications--students need signed applications to receive transportation to Town areas and Waikoloa. Come and receive help for homework, assignments, projects, or your PTP from qualified teachers.

Mauna Lani Bay offers seasonal employment opportunities from December 21 to January 3 to motivated, responsible individuals. Gain work experience and earn extra money as bussers, host/hostess, beach/pool attendants, fitness attendants and food runners.

Boys Junior Varsity soccer tryouts will be Oct 26, 27, 28. Old Airport upper field. Physicals and consent forms need to be turned in.

Attention all baseball players! Please contact Coach Hansen in room D-103 if you plan on participating this season and want to attend any of the pre-season tournaments. Those who do not sign-up will not be allowed to travel. Please pick up a parent consent form and physical form from the office. Go Waveriders!

There will be a Youth Challenge Presentation this Friday in the Band Room during period 5 and 6 for students who are not on track to graduate. See your grade level counselor or Mr. Ching for more information.

We Are Riding that SHIP: It's the BIIF Championship game! Support the WaveRider Football team as they play the Hilo High Vikings this Saturday at 7pm. Wear a blue shirt and let's make a BIG Wave to carry the team to their final BIIF destination! Gooo Riders!! Do Work!

Wiki and lunch today is italian sausage pizza, garden salad, baby carrots, diced pears, and apples.
