Next week we go back to a regular 5 day week schedule with school starting at 8:15am

The deadline to turn in Winter Ball dance agreements has long passed. Forms will no longer be accepted. No exceptions!

Juniors and Seniors interested in attending the HACAC College fair At the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel should sign up and pick up a field trip form from the counter at Mrs. Hartney's office.

PSAT sign ups are still open, sign up with Mrs.Hartney and pick up a practice booklet and information about the Oct. 28th PSAT in the cafeteria.

Here's a very important announcement for any senior interested in attending the University of Hawaii at Hilo--there is a Dorrance Scholarship meeting with seniors whose parents do not have a four year degree, have financial need, 3.0 GPA, test scores (SAT or ACT) plan to attend UH Hilo. Meeting in the cafeteria on Oct. 15, Period 2 in the cafeteria

The Dorrance Scholarship is $10,000 per year! So please attend this meeting if you might qualify

On Monday Oct. 19, Pomona College will meet with interested juniors and seniors in the cafe at 9:48, Pd. 2

On Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 8:51 in the Cafeteria UPWARD BOUND has a meeting and recruitment for 9th, 10th, 11th graders who are income eligible and have parents who did not go to college

Upward Bound students should be interested in support for college going activities, workshops, mentoring, summer college programs at universities locally or on mainland, all for FREE. Applications are available from Mrs. Hartney or grade level counselors.

Don't forget! Applications to become Lifeplan Youth Mentors are due in Katie Weimerskirch (Why - murrs - kurch) and Brian Kispert's mailbox in the admin office THIS FRIDAY.

If you would like to earn valuable community service hours, build your resume, and help underclassmen prepare their futures, please fill out the application provided to you in your CEPA or come to Counselor Office 5 and pick one up.

Attention all girls interested in playing softball this season: sign ups will take place this week in Mr. Hansen's classroom D-103. Conditioning will begin Monday, November 2nd.

Interested in joining a team? Looking to get in shape and improve your health? Then come on down to see Coach Hansen at wiki or lunch in room D-103 this week to sign up for JV or Varsity Waverider Baseball. No experience necessary! GO RIDERS!!!

Aloha Water polo wahine, no practice this weekend, your grumpy ole coach has to crush swimmers dreams at the age group swim meet this weekend in Hilo. We will have practice next
Wednesday and Saturday. Stay tuned for future broadcasts.

Also, your IDs need to be on you at all times on campus. This is a school-wide policy. Please refer to the student handbook for more information.
