Today is Thursday, March 7th.

The ASVAB is TODAY. There may still be seats available. Come to the library to check in.

Student Council is now the Associated Student Body, or ASB. Lots of changes are heading our way. Like for real. We're not just saying that because it's school and we have to. Want to be a part of this change? Election packets for next year's ASB are now available on the website. You can also pick up a copy from Young in the SAC office. Be sure to turn them in by 1:00PM on March 28.

Seniors! Nominations are now open for Senior Ball court! You may nominate seniors in your advisory classes or stop by Young's office to write in a name. People who are nominated must be attending Senior Ball and must have at least a 2.0 GPA.

This Saturday is the FOLK book sale at the public library. NHS members interested in helping, please see Mrs. Anderson in the library.

NHS members interested in helping with LAVAMAN please come and sign-up for your correct tshirt size in the library with Mrs. Anderson.

Attention all paddlers or those would like to learn how to paddle - Kai Opua Canoe Club is starting practice. Monday and Wednesdays at 4 for the girls and Tuesday and Thursdays at 4 for the boys. All ages and experience welcomed!

Do you want to take college classes and earn both high school and college credits, for FREE? If so, applications are NOW OPEN for the Fall 2019 semester! The GEAR UP scholarship is for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch. The deadline to apply is quickly approaching, so don't wait, it's not too late!! The Kamehameha Schools Scholarship application is open now, for Native Hawaiian students, to take Running Start courses. If you're interested and want to apply for Early College classes, or just want more information, please see Mrs. Robinson in the Early College office.

Attention Waveriders! Have you ever thought about going to Yale? Well if you have, there will be a presentation on Wed, March 13, at 9:45am in the library. It will be given by a 2018 Kealakehe graduate, who is in her freshman year at Yale! So come and see what she has to say!

Girls, you think you can run the government? Are you looking for an edge on your college application, or want to make a difference? To learn more about affecting government change while having the time of your life with other girls around the state; apply to www.hawaiigirlsstate.org. This is only applicable to the class of 2022.

Wiki and lunch today are a chicken sandwich, curly fries, lettuce and tomatoes, pineapple chunks, and a fruit cocktail.
