Aloha WaveRiders!

(introduce yourselves)

Today is Monday, March 11th.

Student Council is now the Associated Student Body, or ASB. Lots of changes are heading our way. Like for real. We're not just saying that because it's school and we have to. Want to be a part of this change? Election packets for next year's ASB are now available on the website. You can also pick up a copy from Young in the SAC office. Be sure to turn them in by 1:00PM on March 28.

Do you want to take college classes and earn both high school and college credits, for FREE? If so, applications are NOW OPEN for the Fall 2019 semester! The GEAR UP scholarship is for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch. The deadline to apply is quickly approaching, so don't wait, it's not too late!! The Kamehameha Schools Scholarship application is open now, for Native Hawaiian students, to take Running Start courses. If you're interested and want to apply for Early College classes, or just want more information, please see Mrs. Robinson in the Early College office.

Attention Waveriders! Have you ever thought about going to Yale? Well if you have, there will be a presentation on Wed, March 13, at 9:45am in the library. It will be given by a 2018 Kealakehe graduate, who is in her freshman year at Yale! So come and see what she has to say!

Girls, you think you can run the government? Are you looking for an edge on your college application, or want to make a difference? To learn more about affecting government change while having the time of your life with other girls around the state; apply to www.hawaiigirlsstate.org. This is only applicable to the class of 2022, good luck!

Wiki and lunch today are a hot dog in a roll with tater tots, a House Salad, Shortbread Cookies, 100% Fruit Juice, and a fuji apple.

Thanks for watching and make it a great Waverider Monday!
