Interact Club is doing a Purple Pinky fundraiser to help eradicate polio TODAY.
We are accepting donations and giving out treats and painting our pinkies purple. Please come to our booth in front of E-building during wiki.
NHS members don't forget TODAY right after school we will be painting benches. Meet in front of the library and see Mrs. Anderson with questions.
Attention AP Students! The deadline to pay for AP exams is this Friday, April 27th. Go to the accounting office to pay for exams ASAP. Seniors must pay with cash.
Attention Sophomores! Do you want to attend a free college camp on Oahu from June 1st through the 8th?
Students will get a week long experience in a college dorm and attend workshops on financial aid, scholarships, team building, leadership, and social skills, as well as going on college tours.
The application deadline is this Friday April 27th, so apply ASAP by clicking the link on the school website.
Aloha Kealakehe High School students, Student Council elections have been moved to Tuesday, May 1st.
Attention new Early College and Running Start students! There will be a mandatory orientation on Tuesday, May 1st during advisory in the library. You will receive notes on Monday if you need to attend.
There will be an AP Language and Composition and AP Literature and Composition meeting during ELO, Thursday May 3rd in the Library for prospective students.
We will go over changes, summer assignments and reading lists, expectations, projected workload, the contract, and foundational skills in order to be successful.
Please be aware there will be a sign-in sheet and if you do not attend, you will possibly be unenrolled from the class and placed in a regular 11th or 12th grade English class.
Juniors! Want to go to college but have no idea how to do it? Good news! We are offering a FREE college prep course over the summer.
The course runs from June 5 to July 18 and meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 - 12:00.
Topics include the college admissions process, the college essay and personal statement, letters of recommendations and financial aid.
The class is open to the first 20 juniors who sign up with Young in the SAC office.
Attention comic book fans! Free Comic Book Day is coming up. Go to the Kailua Kona Public Library on Saturday May 5th from 9am - 4:30pm to pick up a free comic book.
Go in costume between 9 and 11 for a chance to win a gift card. For a list of available titles and more information, see Mr Dahlke in the school library.
Lunch today is Chicken tenders and rice, pickled cabbage, broccoli and carrots, apples, pineapple chunks, and milk.
