Good Morning WaveRiders

Today is Friday, May 12th 2017. 

Attention Seniors! Senior Awards Night is on Tuesday, May 16 at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. Plan to be there if you will be accepting any awards or if there is a chance you could win an award. Make sure to arrive on time and dressed to impress! Again, Senior Awards Night is on Tuesday, May 16 at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. Hope to see you there!

Attention Seniors. No Personal checks will be accepted for the rest of the year at the accounting office for any payments. The accounting office will accept as follows cash, money orders, and cashier checks. There is no online system to pay off dues. Thank you

Attention seniors! Do you need information about how to take the Accuplacer test? Do you need help brushing up on your math skills so you can place in a higher math class? Check out the school website for more information.

Attention all Waikoloa students. There is no more sports bus riding for the rest of the year. The only way you can get a ride home is if you attend the WaveRider Learning center, arrive by 3:30 pm and stay the whole time. Make sure you have your permission slip turned in to the library.

Last day for WaveRider Learning Center is May 18th. There will be no rides provided after that. Make sure to arrange your own rides after the 18th, or take the bus.

Attention all students! This is the last call to sign up for Early College classes. Hawaiian Studies 100 will be offered this summer and English 100 in the fall. Remember, you can earn both high school and college credits. See Mrs. Davis ASAP to sign up!

Do you need help paying for summer school? If you are Native Hawaiian, you could qualify for summer school assistance provided by Alu Like. Check out the school website for more information.

Hi,Kealakehe Ohana. We will be hosting a starting event to bring our community together for student success. We will be having some opening and closing numbers by our Zumba group, Kealakehe May Day performers, and our Kealakehe Riders Garden Club. Free and open to the public, bring your families for a fun afternoon to learn about some of the cultures represented at Kealakehe High. See you there!!

Zumba 4 Hope Fundraiser-When: Saturday, May 20th at 5pm to 8pm - Where: Honda Parking Lot

Randal's Dance Fitness, Abby Decoito and Rhodlynn Watai are coming together to raise money for Nohea's family as she has gone to be with the angels. In this we also want to raise awareness for cancer. Please come down and join us as we dance the night away.

Tickets are going to be $15 Presale and $20 at the door. You can buy tickets from Randal Smith in the accounting office.

We are going to have plenty of awesome door prizes from our local businesses and more. Please bring your family and friends as we unite in this stand against cancer and for Nohea's family in this time of need.

Anime Club is selling pre-tickets for Krispy-Kreme donuts at $11. If you want to buy a ticket, come in at Thursday during ELO at D-103 or come find Juri, Ninna, or Ryan around school! We'd be glad to sell you a ticket or two!

Students interested in summer school!! Registration forms are now on the school Website and in the front office. Summer School this year will start on June 1 and end on July 14. School runs from 8:00 am and ends at 12:15 pm. Any questions please come and see Mr Freitas at Mount Olympus, Q104. Mahalo

Wiki and lunch today is Kalua Pork and Cabbage, Steamed Brown Rice, Whole Grain Sweet Roll, Tomato Lomi, Pineapples, Cranberries and a milk.
