Good Morning WaveRiders!

Today is Wednesday, February 10, 2016.

 

We are half-way through 3rd quarter so please be ready for your progress report this Friday.

 

And also get ready for a 3 day weekend with no school on Monday in observance of President’s Day.

 

Tomorrow we have a special schedule with an assembly after period 4 with the Navy Band.  That means period 4, 5, and 6 are each 10 minutes shorter and there is NO ELO.

 

Dance Fitness Zumba and Herbalife Party on February 27th at Kealakehe High School Cafeteria. This event is FREE for everyone. Zumba will start at 11:00 and following that at 12:00 we will have our Super Shake Party.

 

If you give a donation you can get a ticket to enter in our awesome door prizes such as, a movie ticket, hydro flasks, gift cards and more!! 

We Hope to see you and your families there! Ditch the Workout and Join the party!

 

Want to be on this year's May Day Court? Then come to the May Day Court Tryouts TODAY at 5pm in the library. Go to our school's website for more details. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Macatiag in room D-102.

 

Seniors! Ticket sales for Senior Ball are going on now! The last day to purchase your tickets online is this Friday. Cash sales will be held during wiki and lunch on Wednesday and Thursday. 



 

Remember, print your forms and bring them when paying with cash. Online forms are due one week from the date of purchase.

Attention all CEPA students…if you are participating in the STAND UP CEPA challenge, the deadline for entries in the movie ticket drawing has changed to this Thursday, February 11

 

Send your entries to [email protected] and ask your CEPA teacher if you need more details about creative ways to STAND UP against discrimination and bigotry!

 

Would you like to be in the Little Mermaid?  The theater arts auditions for the Little Mermaid will be on March 3 and 4 in Waimea at the Kahilu Theater. Students, teachers and staff if you are interested please email: ecd [email protected]. 



 

Performances for the Little Mermaid will be on May 28th and 29th at Kahilu Theater and June 11th and 12th at Honoka'a.  Thank you!

 

Need a job? Need some money because your girlfriend is a gold digger? Then join us in the gym on February 18 from 2:00PM - 5:00PM for the Kealakehe High School Career and Job Expo. Employers from all over the island will be on hand. Some are even hiring on the spot.

Attention Juniors & Seniors that are 17 or older! What are you doing this summer? Do you want to earn money by working outdoors and helping to protect native ecosystems? Do you want to travel to other islands and have fun camping and meeting other teenagers?

 

How about gain experience in conservation work and earn optional college credits? If so, then the KUPU Hawaii Youth Conservation Summer Program may be for you! Come to an informational session this Friday during CEPA at the cafeteria. See you there!

 

 

 

Attention all members of the Kia i Aina / CEPA recovery program. We will be meeting this Saturday morning in Mr. Harrs' room in E-201. Please make sure to wear shoes, boots, hats and bring water bottles. Our team is set, now it's time to make difference. See you all there.

 

Anyone who want to join us for golf practice, please meet at the gym after school today with your clubs, shoes, and collared shirt.

 

Wiki and lunch today is creole macaroni, garden salad, whole grain French bread, peaches, fruit juice and a milk

 

Next up we have a clip and then students from FRC will be on with their weekly update
