Project Grad - Balanay
Seniors are encouraged to register for Project Grad taking place right after graduation ceremony and lei greeting on May 24th. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate with your classmates. A representative will be available at graduation practices over the next few weeks to answer questions and collect forms. Scholarships are available so don't hesitate to apply. Forms are available with the school librarian or download one from the website www.khsprojectgrad.com Mahalo!
Kona Farm - Hartney
Kona Farm Bureau offers a scholarship for College bound seniors. See Mrs. Hartney for a form.
California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo will meet with interested juniors at 10AM on Thursday, April 24 in the back of the library workroom. sign up on Mrs. Hartney's door for see her for a pass.
English 100 - Hartney
Juniors who are interested in enrolling in English 100 for Fall of 2014 with the West Hawaii Educational Center should apply for Running Start as soon as possible to get high School and college credits, take the COMPASS placement test and get information from Mrs. Hartney. English 100 will be offered on our campus next fall.
Track - Hartfield
The boys and girls track teams will run at HPA this weekend as they get ready for the BIIF Championships on May 2 and 3. Alysa Gamache and Nicole Cristabol lead the girls team. Alysa leads the BIIF in the 100/200 meters. Scott Henderson, Zachary Kaneshiro, Feke Kioa, Keoni Yates and Thunder Frost lead a strong boys team.
Senior Cap and Gown - Young
The items for those who ordered individual cap and gown items are in and can be paid for and picked up in the SAC Office. Many of the late orders have also arrived, including those who ordered through Ms. Solmirin's class and scholarship students.
Wiki and lunch today are chicken pasta with broccoli, garden greens with tomato, applesauce, a whole wheat roll and a milk.
