English 10 Honors (Section per 1) Assignments

Course Overview:

At Kealakehe High School, the tenth grade year focuses on world literature.  Through the state’s newly-adopted SpringBoard curriculum, published by College Board, students will learn to meet rigorous targets in complex reading as well as utilize advanced rhetorical writing techniques.  On these adventures, students will be exploring the literature and culture of several cultures throughout the world.  Each week, students will be expected to prepare for alternating quizzes on SAT vocabulary words and rhetorical skills.  Most assuredly, this promises to be an exciting year!
