The Nā Hoʻokama a Pauahi Program (NHAP) is a need-based scholarship available to students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited post-high institution in the United States recognized by Kamehameha Schools (KS). Last year, over $13 million in scholarships were awarded and the average scholarship amount was $6,360. Preference is given to students of Hawaiian ancestry.

 

Pauahi Foundation Scholarships

The Pauahi Foundation supports students in pursuing their educational dreams by offering over 100 scholarship funds. With one convenient online application you are one step closer to achieving your goal!

The Foundation awards scholarships supporting college level areas of study, as well as trade and vocational courses. Many awards may be determined based on merit, while some are restricted for those students who demonstrate a financial need or for students applying from specific geographic regions. 

Scholarships are available to the general public, including students who are not graduates of Kamehameha Schools. However, it is the policy of the Pauahi Foundation to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.

The Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship Program

Application Deadline: March 1, 2019

 

The Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship Program (NHHSP) provides awards to Native Hawaiian students seeking degrees in health/behavioral health care professions. Scholars must be enrolled or enrolling full-time in an accredited college in the United States. Upon completing a degree, required training and licensure, the recipient must complete 2 years of full time service employment in designated priority sites in Hawai'i. Benefits include tuition, other related school expenses and a monthly stipend to pay for additional costs.
