hi everyone my name is Mister Chen I'm when the vice principals at Kayla K high school I love my job do you like it interact with a lot of amazing students like you all I my office is located in the administrator's office so it's right behind the front office I'm probably the first office that you'll see as your walking between the admin office in a library please stop by and say hi anytime the one of the cool things that we do sometimes meet our family to want them we do little chores around the campus some of them are really interested in our Athletic Facility some are interested in our library can we do that sometimes I also work with a lot of our family's on their classes and we talked a little bit about some of the awesome programs that we have on-campus I like an idiot when I get a lot is like does it bother you it's like making mistakes or make poor choices and I think that's one of my favorite part of my job when we get a chance to talk to students to make poor choices and get to like redirect them and really then learn from their mistakes. That's one of my favorite things and then like a few months later they're like more mature and they learn from it so I I love that part my big thing is we're here to make sure you have the best experience as possible so make sure you tell if you see anything wrong or if he's going through anything or if you just need someone to listen to you I'll make sure you talk to Middle Highway Riders and feature waveriders my name is Jessica. and I'm one of the vice principals at Kelly K hey I've only been here this year as a vice principal but before this I was a teacher on this campus for eight years teaching English on my vice principal with Doctor tonight over at cocci for about five years so I might know some of some of you coming in on this campus I get to work with lots of folks I technically I'm with next year's seniors but will we all have everybody what are things that I do around campus is I support The English Department I'm handling a lot of the covid concerns that are happening right now and I work with a lot of programs like for social emotional learning take it really seriously I want to take your your grades really seriously what a lot of people find out is that making bad decisions can stay with you for a long time and so making decisions like to do not go to class I'm going to not do your work it's not like it has been in the past where you can just do those things and still be able to graduate really making sure that you're double-checking yourself and making those choices from the beginning will save you a lot of heartbreak in the end hi my name is Cassandra vice principal here at Kellogg high school have a lot of different things I do often times supporting teachers supporting students a lot of just supervision and then when it is all said and done some time get to light pilot paperwork that I have to do some of the things we do for new students are particularly incoming freshmen as we do the summer lunch program which is really great way for freshman to get to know the campus and get acclimated to what high school student additionally we have a lot of really great conversations with students whether in our offices are out on campus and it's a really nice way for us to just spend time with students and for us for them to see us as people and not just the vice principals who are scary people are happy to be centrally located so students can come in as they please there's a water fountain there's a bathroom and there's usually at least one of us always in our office to support students as needed principles here at Kilika High School Ellicott high school I'm in charge of the transition to high school so where students come from 8th grade to ninth grade I'm in charge of building out the whole summer program for them as they transition to high school we also help give tours to new students around campus and where is available if any support and advice for students in high school is to work as hard as they possibly can and that everything they do in high school matters to the rest of your life every single class work as hard as you possibly can to pass that class because it makes a difference get to be a senior and you walk the line for graduation and we want to see a hundred percent of our students graduating high school here at Kayla King
