Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Students, Staff and Faculty,

Recently I had the honor of being appointed Principal of this fine school. By coincidence, my
first day was also the first day of our six year WASC accreditation visit. I felt this was an
excellent opportunity to be introduced to the school, and also have the WASC team validate the
many exceptional programs and educational opportunities available to our students.

My educational career spans several decades, and I have worked at all levels of education,
from a college professor, to elementary, middle and high school principal, most recently serving
as principal of Kahakai Elementary School. My focus and passion as always been to do
whatever I can to ensure we promote a curriculum and school environment that ensures
success for all children. I will continue to pursue those goals for Kealakehe High School and do
all I can to support our teachers, students and community. Also, please remember my door is
always open.
