It is likely that the Sun, like other stars, formed as part of a cluster of stars. In what way might that environment have affected the formation of the solar system? For better or worse? Imagine the solar system forming in a very dense star cluster as opposed to a very loose star cluster. What might result from these two different situations that would eventually affect the structure of our solar system?
