Happy that you've found your way to this page! My name is Nick Courtney, and I am originally from a small town in Tennessee. I grew up on the farms in the South and really fell in love with the idea that hard work can produce results. My grandfather would constantly tell me to keep picking beans or shuck more corn so that we would have more food on the table. Having had the fortune to move to Hawaii and begin a teaching career, I still like to think in the same terms as my grandfather did on the farm. Hard work does produce results. I challenge my students to really push themselves to learn as much as they can because I know the power in education.
