Today is Tuesday, April 25th 2017. 

Attention Freshmen and Sophomores! Are you thinking about going to college, but not sure how to get there? Upward Bound could be perfect for you! This program helps first generation or low income students achieve their dream of going to college. Picture yourself staying in the UH Hilo dorms and taking college prep courses this summer, with the potential to stay at mainland colleges in the future. If you're interested in applying, see Ms. Carole in the counseling office.

"April is coming to an end! ACT NOW and open a free account. All you need is a form, your social security number, and a valid ID. Turn in forms in the cafe during lunch. ALSO, deposits and new accounts made on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday can receive pizza, braddah pops, shirts, and more" 

Are you looking for a job? If so, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and Longs Drugs are hiring. Get details on how to apply on the school website.

Attention Seniors! Thanks to those who submitted ideas for the senior class gift! Now it's time to vote. Go to the school website and click the link to vote for the senior class gift.

Come and Zumba with Randal's Dance Fitness at Kealakehe high school Cafeteria, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 530 to 630! Its Free and loads of Fun! Bring Your Family and Friends! Ditch the workout and join the Party! and let the music move you!

Also Join us on April 29th here at Kealakehe high school Football field for the Ceeds of peace event! there will be a walk at 8am then Zumba at 9am and starting at 10am there will be a dance team performance and musical entertainment and it’s all free!! so bring bring everyone!

Attention Seniors. No Personal checks will be accepted for the rest of the year at the accounting office for any payments. The accounting office will accept as follows cash, money orders, and cashier checks. There is no online system to pay off dues. Thank you

Attention all seniors,
This is your last week to finish up your community service for CEPA Recovery. All community service needs to be completed before the first day class. CEPA recovery class starts Monday May 1st from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in rooms E201 and E-202. If you have and questions or concerns please see Mr. Harrs or your counselor immediately.

Again, All community service hours need to be completed before the first day of the Senior CEPA recovery program. Seniors will need to have documentation for 20 hours community service for each year failed. Monday May 1st is the first day of class. We will meet from 3:30pm to 5:30pm Mondays through Fridays in room E-21. If you have any concerns regarding graduation requirements please see your Senior Counselor or Mr. Haars in E-201 ASAP. P.S. This class can not be used to make up Senior year of CEPA. You must pass CEPA Senior year to walk the line.

What are you doing this summer? Do you want to earn 6 free college credits while doing hands-on work learning about archaeology, mapping, and environmental reconstruction? If so, see Mrs. Davis to sign up for this summer field school.

Hey you! Do you want to take college classes for free and earn both high school and college credits? Hawaiian Studies 100 will be offered this summer and English 100 will be offered in the fall. See Mrs. Davis ASAP to sign up!

Students interested in summer school!! Registration forms are now on the school Website and in the front office. Summer School this year will start on June 1 and end on July 14. School runs from 8:00 am and ends at 12:15 pm. Any questions please come and see Mr Freitas at Mount Olympus, Q104. Mahalo
