Aloha WaveRiders!

Today is Thursday, December 14th.

And there are 10 days until Christmas, and 7 days until the winter solstice and last day of the quarter! :)

As a friendly reminder, students that are on Quarterly payment plans for bus transportation, we are asking 3rd quarter payments to be submitted by TOMORROW, December 15, 2017. Once you pay please bring receipt to bus office to get passes punched for 3rd quarter.

GOT YEARBOOK?? Yearbooks are now on sale for $60 through February. We will NOT be ordering extra books this year, so please make sure you RESERVE YOUR YEARBOOK. You may reserve your yearbook by making a $30 deposit now, and pay the remaining $30 in the spring.

Payments may be made at school in the accounting office or in Room Q-101. OR, visit Jostensyearbooks.com to make a payment online. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Pereida in Q-101.

Picture information for Winter Ball is now posted online. Money is due at the dance Saturday.

We would like to invite all parents, students and staff to our Annual Winter Concert TONIGHT, December 14th. Our concert will be held in the band room and will begin at 7PM.

This year’s winter concert will be featuring Kealakehe High School’s concert band, concert choir, ukulele/guitar ensemble and vocal ensemble. Music will consist of traditional winter songs with a few new pop songs added in. Please come and join us for a night of fun and good music.

This is the last day for WaveRider Learning Center. The WLC will resume first week of Quarter 3. Please plan accordingly as there won’t be rides during finals week. Please submit any questions to Mr. Marquez in Y103B

Congratulations to Mr. Wittsman’s periods 1, 2 and 3 civics classes for competing in the We the People competition. The students did a great job.

Period _(open sealed envelope on morning broadcast)_ will be competing at the state competition in Honolulu on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Good luck at states

Kona Elks Club is hosting their annual Hoops Shoot at Kealakehe High gym on Saturday, Dec 16. Volunteers are needed from around 9 to 11. Wear comfortable clothing to run and bend.

Wear sneakers or gym floor shoes, no cleats or other soles that will damage the floor. Please see Mr Dahlke in the library for more details.

Wiki today is Beef Stew w/Steamed Rice & WG Roll, House Salad, Chilled Fruit, Fresh Fruit, and a milk.

Lunch today is Chicken Strips w/Rice, House Salad, Chilled Fruit, Fresh Fruit, and a milk.
