Today is Thursday, August 25, 2016.

Thank you to all students, parents and teachers who attended our Open House last night!

Attention Seniors! Are you interested in learning more about the U.S. Senate? If so, the Schatz Seniors High School Internship Program could be perfect for you. See Mrs. Davis for more details on how to apply. 

Need more options for a part-time job? Jamba Juice and Jack in the Box in Kona are hiring. Apply on their website or at their Kona locations.

Attention seniors. Yearbook needs your Senior quotes, casuals and Keiki photos before September 16. There will only be 2 pages reserved for keiki photos. Bring in your quotes, casuals and keiki photos to Ms. Zamber in I-102.

Seniors, please make sure you are returning your signed Acknowledgement of Commencement Ceremony Participation Conditions. This very important document is due August 30th!

All girls interested in playing softball this season, there will be strength and development clinics held every Saturday during the month of September. See the school’s athletics website for more info on how to register.

There’s a Zumba Glow Party on August 27th at the Sheraton Keauhou Convention Center from 4:30 to 8;00pm

Tickets are $20! Just e-mail [email protected]. This is a benefit for West Hawaii Domestic Abuse shelters. So don't miss out, come and join us!!

Please be advised that effective TODAY, a relocating of bus stops will occur from Route IR16A to IR17A (Waikoloa). The following bus stops will no longer be on route IR16A. 

Hulu St./Kimo Nui 
Hulu St./Laie 
Hulu St./Akaula 

Drivers will be announcing the change daily in the afternoon. Please have students in those areas go to the Bus Office and change their bus pass to reflect IR17A as soon as possible.

Do you have a fondness for Viking Looking people? When you saw Harry Potter did you think of a teacher at Kealakehe? Kealakehe Robotics is now accepting applications to join our internationally recognized team. The team meets on Tuesdays and Fridays and you can earn course credit for participation.

For more information see Mr. Brown in U101 or come to our final open house tomorrow after school from 3:15-5:00. Applications can be submitted online at KealakeheRobotics.org or ask your CEPA teacher for a flier. 

School pictures for grades 9, 10, and 11 continue today through your English classes. Please stop by I102 if you need a picture order form.

Are you interested in Driver’s Ed? If so, our next Lottery Night is going to be TONIGHT at 6:00 pm in the library. Application packets can be picked up in Q-203 or downloaded from our website. If you have any more questions, please contact Mrs. Aparicio or Mr. Verble.

Want to run for Homecoming Court? The last day to turn in nomination forms to Young isTODAY at 1:00PM. DO NOT leave forms in Young's box but turn them in directly to him.

Students, if you want information on how to activate your Infinite Campus account, ask your CEPA teacher for a green instructions handout.

Wiki and lunch today is Beef Stew, Steamed Brown Rice, Whole Grain Cornbread, Mixed Fruits, Oranges and a milk.

Next up we have a clip and then an introduction to our first Lifeplan activity.
