Welcome!I’m excited to have you in class, and I’m confident that we’re going to make incredible strides this year.In order to make this progress, however, it is going to take a lot of work.I am going to be your guide this year, and together, we’re going to reach our goals.We must engage, prepare, and critically think about the material we are learning!Keep an open mind.Be positive.Persevere through the challenges, and check the baggage at the door.Together, we will set high expectations and goals for the class, and together, we will reach those goals.We have some steep mountains to climb, but I’m confident that with the right amount of courage we will conquer anything we set our minds to.This classroom is a place for change.Change in the sense of making things better.As Stephen Covey says, “We do make a difference—one way or another.We are responsible for the impact of our lives.Whatever we do with whatever we have, we leave behind a legacy for those who follow.”Let us exalt one another and leave behind a legacy to remember.
